What little treat have you given yourself this week? And if the answer is none, mummies you have homework for next week! I love a hot chocolate. Not one I’ve made myself but one someone has made for me, it tastes better! Self care can be as simple as a little treat for ourselves… a new book, a hot chocolate, a new candle… anything which will allow you to designate a little time for you is good. It’s not selfish, it’s not indulgent, it’s NECESSARY! As mummies we give so much of ourselves to others BUT mummy is important too It feels like there very little opportunity to devote time to ourselves when you have a baby or young children BUT self care and love really is important. Plus it’s almost impossible to give the best of yourself to others when you are burnt out.Even better what about a yoga class, meditation, a exercise class, get those endorphins rising.
